Federal Firearms Requirements

You must not have any previous record of prohibition from transporting or possessing firearms.
If you were at any time prohibited from receiving, dispatching, possessing or transporting firearms you are not eligible to obtain an FFL.

You must not have any restraining orders in place against you.
If you currently have a restraining order in place against you for fear of imposing harm or bodily injury upon another, such as a partner or child, you will not pass the FFL Requirements.

You must not have renounced your U.S. Citizenship.
Any individual who at any time renounced their U.S. Citizenship is not legal under the Federal Firearms Regulations to apply for a FFL License.

There are many other regulations in regards to your business and local laws within your community that you must also comply with.
It is imperative that any individual wishing to obtain an FFL is well versed in the local and state laws which must be upheld in addition to the Federal Firearms Requirements within their area of operation.
