Federal Firearms Requirements

The Federal Firearms Requirements which are compulsory for any individual wishing to know how get a FFL License vary depending upon the specific type of FFL you are pursuing.

There are however a few requirements that are necessary to obtain any form of Federal Firearms Licenses.

You must be 21 years of age or older.

You must not have any restraining orders in place against you.
If you currently have a restraining order in place against you for fear of imposing harm or bodily injury upon another, such as a partner or child, you will not pass the FFL Requirements.

You must not have renounced your U.S. Citizenship.
Any individual who at any time renounced their U.S. Citizenship is not legal under the Federal Firearms Regulations to apply for a FFL License.
